  I've stopped in here a few times, from the first week they opened to just a few weeks ago. However, each time I wasn't very happy with the quality of the pastries. The scones that I had were dry and sort of flavorless, and the fillings of other pastries (specifically the fruit fillings) tasted very artificial, with a syrup-like consistency versus a real hand-made fruit blend that you would expect in a bakery. I also had a strawberry muffin just a few weeks ago, and while it was better than the other pastries I had, for the appearance of the pastry and location of the bakery (Cobleskill) the price was too high. I really wanted to like the bakery since they did a great job with the exterior appeal and interior design, but after a few tries of different things both my friend and I were unfortunately left dissatisfied. While I haven't tried the cheesecake (which people have left positive reviews about) I thus far can't recommend the bakery.

  Food tasted fine. I asked for a breakfast sandwich, which they serve on a bagel, to go. I was not asked how I would like the egg cooked and they gave it to me runny, which made a complete mess of everything. One easy thing could have made a better experience.

  I was overcharged for a Christmas order and had stopped going due to this and prices seeming to go up, but gave it another try yesterday. While I still feel some baked good are a little too pricey (cheesecakes, cookies, muffins), their lunch combos are fantastic and less than fast food. The rolls & soups are fresh made daily from scratch. The tomato basil soup is too die for! So glad I didn't give up!
  One thing to note, they don't have any bags with handles for to go orders. I lost my sandwich because of it after reaching my destination yesterday, but just an FYI for new patrons! (Also, they messed up today's order, and don't serve sandwiches after 3.)
